Water is often associated with emotion, feeling, and the subconscious — as though it processes the collective inner life of humanity. It has no fixed identity: it can be turbulent or calm, solid, liquid, or vapor, shifting its nature with the mood of its environment. In this mutability lies a paradox. Water can bring people together or hold them just out of reach. On its surface, it mirrors vanity, clarity, and self-recognition. Below, distances become uncertain, and in its deeper, subconscious reaches, water turns dark and impenetrable. What it contains or conceals remains equally mysterious: secrets, traumas, and desires suspended just beneath the surface.
