the dionysian and the apollonian

Nietzsche sees true artistic greatness in the fusion of the Apollonian (order, rationality, harmony) and the Dionysian (chaos, ecstasy, primal vitality). For me, it is the push on the edge of a medium’s limitations, notwithstanding critical praxis.
