We need pure and absolute images that reflect our civilization as a whole and our own deep inner voices.
Civilization + inner voices is a reference to intersubjectivity. I’m unsure what he meant exactly by pure and absolute.
I’m interested in images that defy product promotion or branding. Those images would be pure, empty, absolute, and exclusive. They could nonetheless reflect civilization as a whole.
If deep neural networks are good at producing intersubjective outliers, this will be that portfolio.
